Hello All, quick question from newb central...While removing a dead maple, a lady asked me to remove approximately 12 bushes, all boxwoods under 2.5' from the front of her property. I started to generate a quote based on how I'd remove: chainsaw down, and stump grind out the root systems. Before I hit 'submit' on my bid proposal, is stump grinding the root systems a good idea? Anything else I should be aware of?? Not sure if you guys and gals had done this before...
And just to keep my thread in the 'tree biz' - is there a standard on saw dust left in a customer's yard? I'm talking after big (well big to me...) removals. I give the dust the old Stihl blower treatment, but it never seems to be 'clean.' Any tricks of the trade (tarps, etc.) to cut down on excess sawdust?
Don't mean to be OCD, just trying to look professional...or at least 'professional-esque'
