The one I have says made in japan on it, hence I thought it was a redmax.. I wasnt aware Stihl had a plant there.

If you have the version made after 1994, it is 1.1hp. If prior, about 0.95hp... Was made up to about 1999 for international markets. Not sure of the last date for the USA.
