Gear oil level on Stihl 090G

Can anyone suggest how much gear oil is recommended to be out into the reduction gear case on the 090G. Thanks!

The gear reduction should be use SAE 30 wt. oil. Fill the drive housing until oil level reaches the lower edge of the fill plug hole.

Thanks. I assume that is with the saw laying on it's side with the plug hole up...not with the saw in the upright position?

i would think it is the other way around. if the oil gets warm it needs a place to expand into. and you are already having problems with that saw leaking some oil from the vent.
