HEY YOU BUNCH OF TREE BIZ PROS
PLEASE RECOMMEND THE BEST SOURCE FOR A GEN LIABILITY CARRIER. IS THERE A GROUP POLICY AVAILABLE THRU ONE OF THE ASSOCIATIONS INVOLVED IN THE TREE SERVICE BIZ?

NEXT QUESTION.......HOW ABOUT SOME TIPS ON FINDING A GOOD CLIMBER IN MY AREA. WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PAY SCALE FOR THE SOUTH?

General Liability Ins.

I have been using Scottsdale Ins, We do mostly Mosquito Control spraying and Stump Grinding. They seem to right an individual policy for each company's need. Prices were real good. Never have had to use coverage so far.t.

This was discussed in another thread, something about a monopoly in the topic and a couple carriers were mentioned. I did some asking with some associates last time and came up with a couple carriers. I dont write the stuff, just make referals to others who do. What I did learn , is that it is a very thin marketplace and you will be hard pressed to find a good carrier. Also you are gonna need an agent with some smarts and you can trust, because they have to work up the whole quote to make it reasonable, like combining several lines on one policy. Good luck.

I have a $500K policy wtih Atlantic Casualty, I think $877.00 per year.
I've heard of cheaper rates...
