Getting the casing back on the Stihl 015L

I have rebuilt the carb and got everything back on the 015L. Assembled the trigger assembly back on the saw(attached trigger rod to carb, spring) and ready to go. Now time to put the case back on. I put the spark plug wire through hole and then move the case near the trigger. Hummm, the trigger has to go through the casing and safety mechanism over the trigger. The gas trigger does not fit into the casing. What am I missing or doing wrong? Am I suppose to assemble trigger assembly while putting the casing on? Thanks

I put the case on first, then put the handle on, just do not forget the throttle wire when putting the case on. sorry, read your post again. I am working on a 015AV
