Don't hear much about GIS but it is possible to track trees with this kind of picture at 1800dpi or 3600dpi. It will take Glens a day or two to down load a 47Mb pic at 1800dpi. Vegetation Management made easier. It is here now and will be a part of the future tree management. Get used to it, it's here to stay. www.dot.state.oh.us/aerial/Samples.asp Click on samples.

Hehehe

It's kinda funny, I checked out the medium pic, and that's the an area that I used to work in alot. My old company mowed the quads at the on/off ramps of 71. The top left of the foto is now a huge mall that we landscaped. If I remember correctly, there were 2500 trees and over 50,000 shrubs and perennials.

If anyone has ever worked a job that large they now it sucks when you're doing it but feels great when you're done.

In the winter, we had the contract to plow the place. Eighty or so acres of asphalt. That's the reason I moved to the south. I spent to much time there behind the wheel of a truck.
