I am looking for a good set of chaps that are flexible for work up in the tree. What do you all recommend?

I just bought some lebonville calf wraps. I just bought them yesterday so no review yet but I bought them based on the many I read.

Chainsaw trousers are preferable to chaps, imo.
Chaps move around too much (when climbing) to provide either comfort or benefit.

I like the stuff the guys where in a lot of video's. They are bright orange Stihl pants I think, is this correct are they pants and not chaps?

I second just buying some decent saw pants. Much better. From what I understand some States/Provinces require your pants or chaps to be certified for use there. If you can get them I highly recommend Can-Swe pants. Canadian company. Tough as hell, and about as comfortable as wearing saw pants can be. Not too bad for climbing. I tend to hike the legs up a few inches before strapping my spurs on so I can bend my knees.

I know 2 guys wearing Pfanner saw pants. Both really good climbers. I just don't feel like spending that kinda money.
