as an alternative to all the threads of what chainsaw you came home with, I Went out for 5 gallon of 2 stroke yesterday and came home with a new grapple, at least he threw in the 2 stroke. Scary how much the price is going up tho, this model has jumped 400 GBP in little over 2/3 months and I still need 2 sets of wheel chains which are up nearly 600 gbp a set since I last priced them.

Nice piece. Yep and I'd guess it's due too steel prices going mad. The local junkyard has turned into a carnival lately. The good news is there's a whole lot less junk cars and trucks in peoples yards and woods

I have all the local scrap haulers stopping by my place when they get a full load and I will pay them twice what the scrap yards are for some of there select metal. These people are hauling good usable metal in for scrap thinking they are making a killing. Wait until they go out to there old scarp pile and find that they need to by a piece of that high dollar metal that they gave away at scarp prices.

I did haul off five old freezers and the oldest boy’s dead $200 truck and got $150 for it all. Witch is better then the $75 it would have cost me to get rid of the same junk just a few months ago.

I am building up a fire truck and needed some ¾” grade 8 rod to hold the tank down. A year ago, it would have cast $83 today it cost $111.

I used Oak for under the bed because a 20’ stick of 3”x 3” with 3/16” walls was $220. I would have sold the same thing in Oak for $20.

Nice grapples
