Picked up an older CS-4500 echo today for $10. Fixed pull cord and it fired up on some WD. Going to try it out tomorrow. Not pretty but light and seems like a decent built saw.

Hello,

Absolutely decent saws, have three of them, they are my first choice to go out with me. Like you said, light, good starting, enough power to get the work done. Easy to work on. Seems that the America sold models have a manual oiler, never seen it on an European one. Most of them have the original Tsumura bar still mounted.

Rebuild one because of a crack at a bar stud that leaked from the oil tank.

Greetings from Holland

Jos.
