Got my new band saw mill set up!!

This a temporary set up until I get used to the mill and pick a better spot for it. Is it ok for my tracks to run "down hill". They are level across but the tracks go down hill maybe 4" over the 18' tracks. I figure if anything it will assist in cutting the logs, only issue is the head wants to roll to the end of the track.

FYI its a Hudson HFE 21.

Good to see a bandsaw mill.Thought maybe this forum should be changed to chainsaw mills and sawmilling. Nice job.

Its a small mill, but it will cut some wood for sure.

You have to be excited at the prospect of what you will be doing with it. I bet all kinds of project ideas are already running thru your head.

Congratulations on the mill! Looks like it is well supported, but keep an eye on the wood in ground contact for rot. Looking forward to pictures of it in action!
