great looking white! wind blown deadfall is never fun! I have a small white pine stub to take down tomorrow that is 20" dbh an 20' tall... total tree height is close to 50' not sure what the top will produce .. like the white's for sawing out for 1" . the ground here is like a rock yet for awhile an many of the popple's that ive been cutting will probably stand again in the thaw.

here is a pic. of the average white pine I luck out on once in awhile ... stub was 26' tall 25" on the stump with a 16" cut top... the stub was 23" with 2 blocks taken off for better wood.... the top is still a 14" bottom with a good 8" top end at 4 sticks ... quick taper to the top!IMG_6533.JPG
