We were up on the farm for 4 1/2 days for our annual hunting trip. I got some milling in with mini mill on Sunday and then got to use the Alaskan on Tuesday. Actually, as you can see in the pics, I used the big mill to split the smaller logs in half and then used the mini to cut them into 6" beams with one side left round.

I just got a new camera, for Christmas, and the memory card only had space for about 20 pics. I had to keep deleting pics to make room for more. I can't believe it but I deleted the final picture of my little addition foundation. The addition is 8'X12".

These are 2"X16" planks for floor boards. I got 4 cut, and the saw was starting to slow down a little, and it looked like it was going to rain, so we called it quits, Joe.

I call that one my million dollar saw, it's an early 70's Homelite Super 1050 Auto. My Dad bought it new around 71 or 72 and had it in service for 20 years or better. I figured it made him at least a million bucks over that time period. In the first pic with the 2X6 for a guide it has the 24" bar and the pics with the ladder for a guide it has the 36' bar, Joe.
