Got some work done recently while on break but I have a lot more to go. The more I get done now, the less I have to do in the summer heat. This pile is all oak and is about 85' long. Other pics are of the work that lies ahead.image.jpgimage.jpg

And to think I was going to post a picture of my finished pile. Not anymore, too embarrassed! Really nice Jrider!

Nice pile jrider!! Do you keep track of how long it takes to process all that? That is a heck of a lot of work!!

I have kept track in the past but haven't this year. By keeping track I've learned I make more $ per hour than some here claim but I sure as heck won't ever get rich either.

with 85 ft. long and guessing it's about 10 ft. wide x 7 ft. high ? I am guessing again that every 10 ft. in length will produce 1.5 cords of lose wood .. or or guessing a whopping 12.75 cords..... let us know? great working temps such as they are wet and cool beats hot and dry!

here's a little project that was started after easter dinner and finished up at 5:00 this afternoon. 12 cords, 10 hours, 13 tanks of gas ran through my signature saw list and minus 1 log for the gtg at snuffbandits on Saturday. like you said better now then when hot.....IMG_6480.JPG
