Hey all, I picked up a Grillion for a steal on ebay, cleaned and tested it low and slow, works great, I know it is designed to be used as a lanyard adjuster I just would like any input on using it in tree work in the place of a friction hitch and pulley. saftey is one main concern, if my lanyard or second line is 35 feet will it still behave in the same manner. how about setting up a 3:1 for ascending on it? Any input would be great thanks.
