Growth Regulators

I read an article in Lawn & Landscape that talked about a growth regulator called Snipper that would prevent sweet gums from producing fruits. Does any one know of any chemicals that would inhibit acorn production on oak trees?

Any information would be appreciated.

most of the fruit thinning products will work on nuts too.

I've heard of NAA and Florell used with some sucsess.
