Ok, I have a poulan 3000, and on a night I was partaking in the drinking of many budweisers I bought a Husky bar on ebay. Here is the item. If you can help me I appreciate it. One New 16" Husqvarna Bar :5089261-66 ,Pitch .325" ,Gage 0.050", 66DL. I know the chain is right. What I am not sure of, is if the bar mount fits my Poulan 3000.

Yeah, I tried that, but numbers didnt jive. Im an idiot for buying off ebay. Just wondered if these numbers meant anything.

Pitch .325" ,Gage 0.050", 66DL. Same as advertised husky chain. I just wondered if mounting and oiling is right.

The 305 I had which is like the 3000 took a K041. The huskys i think like on my 357 used a K095. I made the K041's work on my K095 mount saws by drilling new oil passages and elongating the bar adjuster holes.
Going the other way will be harder though K095 to a K041, due to the K041 having the oil passages in the bar adjuster hole.

Ok, this saw has the adjuster on the front of the saw. The oiler hole is similar location to stihl, above and between the bar studs.

Oiler hole is what looks like a jet between studs on the right side just above the right bar stud.

I am talking where the bar oil passages are at on my above post. Not where it is on the saw.

I got a used replaceable tip A041 16" 66DL .325 off my old poulan 305 I will give you, that needs the bar rails trued. Its a $9-$11 job to get bar rails trued up and even.
Its in that pic with all the poulans i posted earlier on the 305.

st--you can pm mike--and tell him of the error--and he will correct it--he asks for pics of saws that he doesnt have--and help in any area that may be wrong---oly
