hard to start 032

I have a Stihl 032 that has always started hard. There is a new carb kit in it. Once it gets running it cuts like a bear, but takes 15 -20 pulls to get her going after that it will start right up. Any help would be appreciated

Have you cecked the ignition? Wiring, boot or the spark plug??? just some thoughts, you may have some thing loose or just a bad connection.

Make sure the choke is closed all the way when it is engaged, and make sure the throttle advance for startup is working properly (if equipped)

It has a fairly new plug in it. What should the gap be? i will check it. If the ignition was bad would'ent it run funny? This saw does this after sitting for a length of time (couple weeks) After i start it, it will run and idle perfect no misses or any weird sounds.
