Dan Krause is from the Big Island I think.

His Dad runs a buisness over there.

Dan sad he wanted to go to a place that had real trees, so he moved to WA. Guess you can't get any more real then that:D

Hello
JPS I don't remember saying that, I thought I would never leave Hawaii because the trees are so fantastic.
Kauai is a very small but beautiful Island, I don't know of any tree companys there or what they pay, but in general a good climber is allways welcome, and Kauai is like the garden of Eden.
My father is on the Big Island, he could be looking for a climber I don't know, he pays about 18 an hour.
I've found the climbing to be harder in Hawaii than in WA, there is a lot more crown reduction going on in Hawaii and getting a tree smaller in size, still green and shaped well is a lot harder than cleaning out the inside.
Let us know how the move went, O I forgot about the coconuts, that's a nother skill to learn' that's not eazy.
Aloha Dan.

Weeelllll I paraphrased it. I remember it as a less generouse assemement of current practices then was given above ;) .
