Seems the wind has whispered to me that fellow AS member Brad Morgan has a acquired new to him used mill.I think it's a Gransberg Alaskan Junior.Maybe we could coax him to show it off while using it.Brad Morgan the Mean Miller from Northern BC.Have to tell you that I met his family lately and they are a great bunch of people!

Brmorgan has been quiet since he went back to work at the mill. Work tends to interfere with the important things in life, but it is necessary to support our hobbies.

Yeah I've been busy working on getting my workspace (somewhat) organized and more user-friendly. Getting tired of tripping over things and losing whatever might have the unfortunate luck of falling to the floor! Haven't milled anything for probably near a couple months now. But, I have plenty on the to-do list - I need at least 16 2X10X12' boards for joists to build the top storage level in the shop. Then it's on to cutting 8X8 timbers for a few retaining walls etc. I need to get busy rebuilding around here. We've been working quite a few 50-hour weeks (normally just 4 10-hr days) lately so I haven't had that extra day off to play. I can't complain much though, because I can really use the extra money right now after spending a year laid off! I'm hoping to get some stuff milled in the next week or two though once I get a couple more projects out of the way.

Bob, I really need to send you a PM. I'll get in touch with you later this evening; I just got home and have a lot to do while the sun is shining. Looks like it could rain so I'd better get cracking. Good to see you made it over to this side of the pond safely though.

PS - thanks again Lawrence for the mill. I'll have to drill out a couple bars to use with it.

Doing the same thing today, getting ready to build the new new shop next spring, still have to use the one I have until then though, it needed a good cleaning. Did get my 045 put back together and a Dolmar 111 working for a buddy while in the process, been a productive day.
