I have a Heatmor 200 & had a pump go out last year. Is it possible to rebuild a Bell & Gossett PL-36? Or any pump places that rebuild it? Would like to try & rebuild it myself to keep as a spare. Or is there a better pump to buy at a similar cost as replacing this 1? Also would like to find an extra blower motor cheaper than what I paid my dealer last year that also went out.

I'm sure its rebuildable but I would swap it out with a Taco 0013...the b&g pump you have uses a mechanical seal, and had an ODP motor, meaning it sucks any dust/dirt/bugs through the windings of the motor, clogging them up and not letting it cool as it should, and the mechanical seal isn't the best...
the taco is completely different, the rotor (motor shaft) is "wet" meaning its inside the pump, and the windings are on the outside, its essentially leak proof, when it needs to be replaced you just buy the "cartridge" which is the wet rotor and impeller, and swap them...its a 5 minute job, 4 bolts and an o ring and its done...heres a 0013
