Hello, all.
I'm a homeowner and casual woodworker who became interested in milling when I needed to take down a black walnut on my property. After milling it I have a friend who obtained five large red oak logs when some property behind his house was being cleared so we milled those for fun one weekend. I'm running a Stihl 441 C Magnum with a 42" bar which is only just enough horsepower to do tasks like this but I take my time. The saw needs a new oiler and I'm looking to upgrade to a high output control bolt and piston so I have some questions about that which I'll ask on other threads already posted on this topic. I also do random cleanup work around the yard using the stock bar I was happy to find this community of pros and experienced folks to share info with about equipment and other topics.
