I ordered a 5100S.I feel much better now,and it only took my dealer 2 days to get it in.

After he tried talking me into a 540 he had on the shelf.

I was dreaming of the 5100, might have to make some phone calls today.Got three dealers within 40 miles of me.

I have a 2171 and I think a 5100 would be a little nicer for limbing. the 2171 is the only saw I have now unless I borrow my brothers 2156

I've been limbing a lot with my 5100, and it works great. Once I get a little bit in shape I don't notice the weight at all, and it still buzzes thru 17" oak. It accelerates off idle really well. Buy one, you'll like it!

Well my wife thinks you guys are a bad influence on me. But with her beaing the Cheif Financial Officer I had to get her approval and she said OK. I just picked it up and tried it out a little and so far I LIKE IT!!:hmm3grin2orange:
