Hi everyone, i truly hope someone can help me identify what i am told is an old wood/coal stove. i can not find any names on it anywhere

Don't know, but it looks to be a very efficient and practical stove. Can I borrow it? Its minus 40 here now, the coldest place in Canada right now.

Sorry, can't help you figure out what make it is. Do you have a pic of the firebox inside? Any type of coal stove has a cast iron fire grate. If it has no fire grate then it's wood only. Maybe that will help.

It did have a cast iron grate with a round center piece, I don't have a pic now tho. I recently found one just like it on Craigslist, he says his is a better n Ben's wood/coal. If anyone knows where I can find a manual that would be great
it would be warm,, in that nice cabin you built................................
No idea as to brand BUT I can tell you it AIN'T OLD!

I have actually identified it, it's a better n Ben's model 901. Unfortunately they are like 30 years old, this one has been well taken care of and really painted. I nerd to know the recommended installation measurements still. Can't fin anywhere, so if anyone can find them I would be eternally grateful

You may be right. This company made a lot of wood stoves. I like yours better. That ash pan that yours has below the fire is a great idea. The one above is likely not much better than the old Franklin stoves they sold back in the '70s.
