Help me with this saw.

I bought a old Remington super 660 today at an auction for 20 bucks. I know absolutly nothing about this saw besides the fact that it seems really big. Does anyone own one? What are the cc's and how big of a guide bar can you run? anything helps. Oh yes, and what fuel ratio?

It says a fuel ratio of 16:1 (cough, cough splutter &@!#*$!) but I reckon with a modern lube you could get away with a lot higher ratio, probably even 32:1 - but maybe better check with the CS gurus on the CS forum.

In the early 60's when that saw was made 16:1 was common for 2 strokes. with the advances in lubrication technology you can run a modern oil at the same ratio as any other saw.

Yeah, my old Mac D30 says 8:1 for break-in and 12:1 thereafter... Can you imagine? And that was with just regular SAE 30 for mix oil!
