what are we looking for? The made in the usa? I must have missed that post that doubted you

All my Poulans say made in the USA the 2000,220,330,3750. No foreign words that I have ever seen on a tear down, except on the 60cc cylinder. I will have to look up that name again, but it was a maker of performace cylinders in itlay. I think. Heres the 3500 from mikes site Made in USA it says. Not some foreign land like others. http://64.180.101.188/cscc.nsf/ed1d...3654ddd3625f52ec88256d620019e576?OpenDocument

Found it the 60cc jug on my 3750 was a Gilardoni cylinder. Maker is Italian performace cylinder maker. Only part that didnt say made in Canada or USA on it.

Familiar to what?
Looks like a run of the mill Poulan product to me.

The only Poulan saws I know of, that is not made in the USA or Canada, is the Swedish made Poulan Pro 505, 475 and 425/415.
These were Partner designed, and rebadged Jonsered and Partner versions of the original design.

so is the poulan pro the same or as good as a jonsered?
Generally not, but the PP505 and 475 are the same saws as Jred 2083 and 2077 - they are made at the same factory in Sweden, and true professional quality saws, unlike most Poulan Pros.

Take a look at the Partner P7700 tread if you want to know more about these saws.

...and don't forget that Jred like the other "name" brands make good and not so good saws.....
