I know you'll think this is a POS, but I've put your name on it...

Brand new - ran on straight gas. New piston and cylinder (week after brand new), ran less then 5 tanks of gas, emptied, ran dry and stored.... New gas - runs great...

These pics make it look worse then it really is - it's in just beautiful condition.. Not sure if the bar is original (boy - someone really put that though the grinder!).

What a beauty. I heard that Homelite means quality in some language and this proves it. If i didn't know better i would say that bar looks like an old Stihl bar. If you continue to convert from the bar down I will understand.:hmm3grin2orange:

Swapped the crankcase over and started it up. 028super is just waiting for an oil pump gasket. He'll no doubt be back to tell the story.

Damn, got to get me one of those!! My wife looks at the Husky hat and asks "where did you get the sewing machine hat?" :ices_rofl:

The Dolmar hat is not a bad looking hat, red letters on black (as opposed to orange letters like Stihl) and the seams have a red stich like some baseball caps.

Some folks thing it looks better than the saws, although I have gotten to like their look just fine.

So Andy, Speaking of hats.......

I have a really nice mint Homelite Skullbucket from the 70's-80's, and Im kind of wondering when your going back to hook up with that 750?

Well if RBW does not take it let me know. I need another 750 like a hole in the head but that has never stopped me before.
