Hi,
my name is Michiel, and I live in the Netherlands.
As we fire a wood stove, I purchased my first (electric) chainsaw maybe 8 years ago.
After a few years working this electric one, I decided to upgrade to a "real" two stroke.
And got hooked to also fixing & tinkering with them.

The lineup is currently:
  • Bosch ake30s (electric, bought new)
  • Stihl ms290 (purchased second hand)
  • Dolmar 100 (from the 80s, bought non running)
  • Husqvarna 61 (from 1982, purchased as a non-runner, currently fixing it)

Welcome to the site
The 61s are great saws I have several vintage husqvarnas
My favorites.
The 290s are still very popular here
Never saw a dolmar 100 though.

Here is the dolmar 100. Made in WEST Germany, so it's clearly from the 80s.
35 cc's, so a light saw. I use it quote often, for cutting up branches and kindling.
