hip thrust with a little help

does anybody here ascend trees utilizing the hip thrust method while receiving a little help from the rest of the crew. They pull when you do and belay at the same time. Once i get to the top i then tie in. This is how my boss has done it for 33 years. Keeps you in shape but is a whole lot easier than tying in at the bottom and killing yourself.

Yup done that. Very nice when the opportunity presents itself, especially with a micro pulley in the system so you don't even have to tend your friction hitch!

Yep, even a little downward pressure helps a lot.
I don't have to look for ways to keep in shape.
