Hired a new climber today!!!!!!!!!

Well i hired a new climber today 208.00 a Week! He's full of piss and vinegar too.
Great guy said he's been climbing for yrs! I was doing an estimate today across the street from the hospital and this fellow approaches me.He asks You need a climber?I Replied Sure! but only a good one.He then tells me he's been climbing trees for yrs and he's got what it takes.He told me though that he can only gross 208.00 a week or it will mess up his disability checks. So i told him no problem 60 hours a week for 208.00 and I'd of course buy his lunch.Only drawback is he can't get a d.o.t health card since he only has one leg and i'll have to get one of the other guys to empty his colostomy bag twice a day.
But he seems dedicated.

And he likes gas station hotdogs! He said he cant digest the hotdog so no weiner just the chili! save like .50 a day!

The trick is to get crystal meth addicts, pay them in meth each day in morning at 6am and then again at 6pm. But only have them each work on alternative days. That way your not paying for the "come down" the next day and they work like crazy while on the meth, and wont get to work late or leave early or they will miss there fix. Give them enough of it and they will have enough go to only need handsaws so your cutting back on saw and fuel costs.

Years back in some of the UK big city (think it was london but am not sure) they were trying to find jobs for ex heroine addicts, one of the programs trained them to become arborists. The problem was that not all of them stayed off the junk. Years afterwards there were some junk loving arborists around and I know that at least one company hired these guys and part paid them in heroine on the job. Apparently they were always on time, never called in sick although throwing up on the job was common. An arborist I used to hire worked with them. Luckily for him he was just a coke head (and came to NZ to straighten up as its hard to get here.)

No but he said his Dad could climb as well but he needed to be hauled up the trunk as his wheel chair didnt have 4 wheel drive.

Sad thing is, We have a rehab program in my town like that. 5 man crew, $750 a day

They spike everything they climb.

They are called the HOW foundation and they are basically incarcerated. They are court ordered to the rehab and are basically slave labor. I have had to clean up after them several times.

Oh yeah, They are subsidized and get grants from the state.

The wall sitters (drunks, addicts, and unskilled out of work guys and girls) gather at 8am to wait for the truck, they get picked up and taken to various places to do odd jobs, painting, landscaping etc.
As far as I know there is no training, they get $15 an hour, paid on Fridays, they have to work a minimum of 4 hours.
It's crazily popular, some say its given them new hope....

Well He can Climb! Removed a Pin oak today.He is kinda slow only problem was when he caught his colostomy bag on a branch and Gave the Ground crew a surprise.

Actually, meth heads wouldnt be as good as it sounds. They might move good but they get distracted extremely easy. Also, you are wrong about the come down time. If you keep them on the meth they will stay awake almost indefinaitely. You could get one to go 72 I bet. Heck, a 100+ wouldnt surprise me. Real meth addicts often stay awake for several days. Not sure how long the crash is when they finally sleep though. My uncle used to disappear completely when he was on it. Had a tendency to fall asleep anywhere.
