Sta-set X or regular kernmantle 8 & 9mm cord, either Bluewater or Mammut. I like the Sta-set for distels and knut's and the reg. cord for VT.

I don't know. The guys in Lake Oswego have Purple/pink stuff and tan stuff, I have a little of both.

Bradley, are you using sta-set, or the "x" version which has a fuzzy cover and a gauze covered core?

love

I use the x cause I bought like 150' of it at West Marine for like 6 dollars. I think it works great for the Distel and knut but for the VT I don't like it. For me the reg. 8 and 9mm cord seem to work the best . What do you think about the X?
