Anyone hear of this saw before or know much about them. I already looked it up on Mike Acres site and kinda pin pointed the model. Looks like they were made them in Richmond Indiana, the price is right on it, Just curious if anyone has seen or used one?

Wow they must be rare:)

That looks to be the same model, is it a 88?? I think there was a few 88's a Super 88 (like a Oliver tractor) and two other 88's. I'm going to meet the guy tomorrow and see what he all has, I might be coming home with 3 of them???

Edit I just noticed you said it was a 88 opps :)

Really nice looking saw Leeha!!! I'm getting more excited to go look at these things tomorrow! How does it run?

OOOHHH, I like it Mr. Cliff
I gotta git me one of them
Westy bender 105cc jobbies.
I bet she pull good with the geardrive.

Mine has the Power products carb
with the single 4 bolt diaphram.
Not the tilly HL. Not sure if it's original
but it has the same color paint as the saw.
And the saw has not been repainted.

Wow, you never know what you will see on the net!!!! I used to work in the tool room at Hoffco back in the middle 90's. That saw looks like it is way older than I am. When I worked there we manufactured weed eaters and small rototillers. I never knew anything about them making any chainsaws. Those are really cool saws!!!

I was weed-whacking the edges of my neighbor's trout ponds for the kids' fishing derby that was coming up.
The land owner was admiring how well my Echo SRM-2110 handled the task and he knows I like to work on 2-strokes.
He told me about his Hoffco Whizz Witch trimmer and asked if I'd try to fix it for him.
I did a quick search and read that it's got an 85cc Tecumseh 2-stroke. :dizzy:
He bought it new at Montgomery Wards 30+ years ago.
He recently ran the tri-kut blade into a 2" ash sapling and something let go.
I bet it'll be fun chasing parts down for this thing.

Is it just me or does that look like someone took a Briggs & Startton push mower engine, turned it sideways and stuffed it in a chainsaw?
