Hey guys-

I got this nice Homie 2000 Automatic locally on trade from a woodworker. It seems to be in great shape. The compression is fantastic. As you Homelite guys know, the 2000 is the first incarnation of the 2100/3100 family at 114cc. It has the original 1/2" pitch chain and 42" bar that was sold new on this saw, and the chain looks barely used. It has the original sprocket which shows little wear. The muffler is in great shape as is the ignition system. The air filter is original and looks good. I'd be happy to go through the fuel system get this running for the right trade. I'm looking to trade for a modern saw or a different classic saw that I don't have- I'm not really a Homelite guy. Thanks!

My that looks heavy.

It is heavy. I could run it for six hours but my shoulders and elbows would be shot.

So, how many pallets of Mini Macs do you need?

What vintage saw(s) are you looking for?

Oh, I dunno. There's not a whole lot chainsaw-wise that really interests me anymore.

Jacob, do you have any homie gear drives, or a solo twin? How about a J-red xf. Just wondering. Those are the older saws that interest me. ;) :)

I got rid of my last two 3100Gs, and I have a Solo twin but it's not going anywhere anytime soon. When it does get ready to leave, it won't be cheap. No Jonsereds XF- I had one lined up out of Bristol, UK but the guy disappeared.

Two things come to mind:

-First.........................................."last two 3100G's"??? How many did you have?

-Dammit this means that the "minty 3100G" you'd mentioned a while ago is gone gone gone. Near the top of my "gotta get if I win the lotto" list has been that 3100G that I was going to pry from the JJ collection with a wad-o-cashola. One more dream gone....

It's in a museum now. I'm restoring a KB6AX, DA-211, and a Reed-Prentice 1200B to go in the museum also.
