Hi everyone. I’ve come across a couple of 240’s and set into trying to get them to run properly. I’ve pressure tested the crankcase, it’s good. Changed the gaskets and diaphragms in the carb after cleaning it thoroughly. Flipped the reed over and replaced every hose on the saw. It has plenty of compression.
When I start it it seems to be fine until I rev it a bit. It usually dies as soon as I get off the throttle. Even after flipping the reed over I don’t think it seals right. Fuel blows back through the carb. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
