I'm looking for instructions on my Homelite 330 Hi/Lo and idle adjustments for a Zama C1S carburetor. Can anyone direct me on where to find them???
:blob5:

They worked pretty well, but the saw seems to have a sweet spot where it wants to run good. For example the LO is out pretty far with the idle in to compensate, otherwise it wants to bog when you juice it. Then I set the HI just a little rich of max speed where it started to fourcycle a little.

Where is the intake boot? What would the saw do if the intake boot was messed up? I saw a couple of other posts about the intake boots on 33o saws.

The 330 would either run lean, or not run at all if the intake boot is torn. these saws are known for that issue. when I first got a 330, thats THE FIRST thing I replaced even though it wasnt torn, I wanted to be on the safe side.

Ask Randy Duncan on Ebay about a replacment boot, I dont know the part number ,but If you ask Randy, and tell him you need an intake boot for a Homelite330, you'll get what you need.

That's "randysenginerepair" on EBay..

According to an IPL I have, the number for the 330 boot is 93838B. If you do a bit of searching, you can probably find one a good bit less expensive than Randy's on eBay. For example, Hawkins Bros. has had very reasonable deals on items I've needed in the past.
