Backround info on my saw:

So i just bought a homelite 3514c 42cc chainsaw as a recreational saw to hop up and make it a "high performance saw" (obviously its a low end saw, but im going to try and make it the best low end saw possible). i didnt even start it up when i bought it, i immediately tore it down and began porting the cylinders. All i did was port the exhaust and intake larger and changed the timing on both so they a wider (longer duration) and i drilled a 3/8in hole through the catalyst and 2, 3/8in hole out of the end of the muffler. I tested along side my poulan 50cc saw and it out revs the saw, and can cut thicker wood and last longer before the chain stalls and it boggs. So i would say for my first saw it was a decent success.

My question is:

I also want to put a bigger carb on it, but im having a hard time finding one through searching the internet due to know one really modding out these low end saws, and i just wanted to post here and see if anyone knows of a carb that will fit or any specs on the carb already that can help me determine what kind of carb i can use.

Thanks!!

not much for your question but thats what I have done to for a mates saw, and it had a muffler that weighed in at 315g. So I put 4 7mm holes and set the chain to "progressive rakers"
now it runs crazy
you may well need the 'D' screwdriver or a 'pac man' to adjust, come in a kit of 4.
i got mine straight from china, sponsor might havesome otherwise ebay direct
