I got myself a Homelite 7-29. The only problem is that it is in a way a "Frankensaw", as it seemigly has a Homelite 5-30 cylinder and piston. I measured with a caliper the piston stroke and cylinder bore, and they both point to a 5-30.

So if anybody is sitting on a Homelite 7-29 parts saw (non-running) or has a spare cylinder and piston kit to sell, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I made some measurements on the cylinder and piston with a caliper. These are the results. May come from a Homelite 26LCS, or anything 109cc/6.63 cu. in. from a Homelite saw.

The IPLs are out there. Compare part numbers to see where the differences begin and end. I will say the tanks, covers and wrap handles will easily swap. Not sure about the rear handle/filter/carb assembly. Probably, the belt drive case will bolt on.
