Is there any chance of finding .pdf or printed service manual for old Homelite saws such as the XL top handle and XL Super?

I think I'm gonna gwet to work on my friends XL 1st, since it's probably a saw he could used the most.

Thanks

BTW... if any of you folks stock the parts for doing the very basic overhall of fuel line, filters & such, please drop me an email with your phone number and I'll get with ya.

Here is the chainsaw manual I have:

https://www.buyprism.com/ProductDetail.asp?PRDID=594

It covers most of the older homelites pretty well, though I can't speak of any other models. Has good breakdowns of most carbs as well. It doesn't have parts numbers, which is a little annoying, but http://www.odref.com/homelite/chainsaw/index.html is a good source of pdf parts lists. There are cheaper places to get the manual as well, that was just the first link that came up on google.

Basic fuel system parts such as filters, gaskets, and carb kits are available from virtually any chainsaw parts house. For the carb kits you'll likely need to know the carb model itself, as most places don't list the kits under homelite.
