As the title reads I have a good running homelite 1050 and can run it the way it is but really need a non broken clutch cover and a .404 clutch drum that is not wore. The one on the saw is wore in a bad way.

On another note,,,can anyone enlighten me on what other saws interchange with these two parts?

Well, I’ve got a .404x8 67239 drum that fits a 2100 super, but the ipl says its a 5-spline rim when its a 6-spline, so who knows. I’ve got a solid 1020 clutch cover that’s orange, not red. It has a bit of chain rash, but no cracks/breaks. If you need a red clutch cover I’ll get in touch with a guy that has one or two and see if he’d be willing to part with one. Here’s a link to new sprockets if you feel that the one is too worn. Link

I really would like a red clutch cover if possible. Could you pm me on the clutch drum and sprocket with a price. If it will fit my 1050 I want it.

I am looking for a clutch cover for a 1050 if anyone has more. Thanks!

Haven't found one of those either. Why are the covers so beat up and cracked?
Cause loggers would beat the hell out of saws. I've seen a bunch of pioneer and 056 Stihl parts that came from loggers and almost every part has some kinda damage. Clutch covers all get chain rash or get chewed up by the clutches trying to come off, pto side case halves get thrashed by chains, clutch drums get run till the splines wear off, recoils get run until the rope of pulley breaks, wraps get bent or shredded by chains, you get the drift. @Maxamow collects those big saws, he might know where you could find a cover.

I agree with that statement, logger get paid to drop wood, they never worry about the damage to the saw. I will look this guy up and see if her has any info. Thanks!
