Homelite Super 2 Rotor & Starter Pawl Assy

Anybody got one of these laying around for a Homelite Super 2 CS3314 chainsaw Model# UT-10734-R?

Mine fell off the work bench while disassembled and broke some of the fins, one of which holds back the end of one starter pawl spring.

I'm sure it would be much more cost effective to find a used one for my little Homey than to buy a new one.

But since you are so far off base Ill point out that he allready got rivits from BAILEYS and they wont work for his "old school" Bar tips.

When I posted the reply you quoted, the thread was still in the ArboristSite.com > Equipment Forums > Chainsaw forum. What I was saying is I wouldn't look for parts in that forum again. I didn't even know the administrators moved the thread to the Trading Post forum until one of the members PM'd me and let me know. I thought they had deleted it altogether. Anyway, I didn't mean to offend anyone or shortchange those who generously help sponsor these great forums.

btw, Brandon said he would look in his junkpile tomorrow and let me know if he had one laying around. I will let you know, if he doesn't have one. Hey, if I hadn't been such a klutz and knocked it off the workbench while trying to get the oiler working, I wouldn't need one! lol

This is what this forums rules state.......

Items wanted must wait for 1 day in order sponsors to respond. After that others may respond.

The Rules say 1 day to respond not sell, not give, Respond, and its most likely worded that way for a reason.

The one part I should elaborate on is this. If you are looking for a part go ahead and post it. They sponsors will have first dibbs to answer your request. If nobody responds within 2 days, then others may post to fill your requirement. We want to be able to fill your request, but we also want to protect our sponsors.

They dont want you to respond and sell before the sponsors or muddy the waters with multiple offers.

This is to benifit the sponsors, they pay money for us to be able to sit here and BS and they deserve first crack to Sell thats why they pay for the sponsor rights .


If they werent given a fair shot to sell, then why would they sponsor?



Most of you know I got a hundred # of nos parts for homelites, I wait the day to offer them, and I loose out all the time, but its simply the rules.

I think the 48hr rule is pretty clear cut.

I hope the site members realize what it would mean to them if I and other used parts suppliers stopped sponsoring here. I give AS members wicked good prices on parts that they contact me directly for, often 1/2 of what I charge on ebay. And, not to mention all the attention I give to special requests, parts fit info, and answering questions about all varieties of obsolete saws here. I challenge you to find anybody in the country with more JoBu parts than me
