Anybody got one of these laying around for a Homelite Super 2 CS3314 chainsaw Model# UT-10734-R?

Click on this link and it will take you to the parts diagram:
Item 29: Rotor and Starter Pawl part# A04158

Mine fell off the work bench while disassembled and broke some of the fins, one of which holds back the end of one starter pawl spring.

I'm sure it would be much more cost effective to find a used one for my little Homey than to buy a new one.

I have several but........

Sponsers first

Most sponsers should have some of the flywheels around.

I gotta get my paypal staightened out so I can sponsoon meself:buttkick:

Apology

To the sponsors and to the members:

My sincerest apology for not knowing how things work here. I've just been a member a short while.

I won't look here for parts again.

Good point

No I believe it is OK for first timers to ask about parts here. There is a Trading Post room for future needs or sales. I am pretty new here myself but I don't think it's a big deal

*waitng for the rotten fruit and vegetables to start flying*

Ouch. Please re-consider.

I do have flywheels, and all sorts of other parts for those little homies. If 'puteruser can't come up with a freebie.

Let 'em have first crack at giving something away for free? Sure, if they really want to.

It was my intention to hook the guy up if I had the part, just send it to him. Gee, so much for generosity.

Get a grip dude.

Regardless of your intentions, its the way its supposed to be. Sponsors are supposed to get 24hrs to respond before anyone else pipes up.

Not my rules, The rules. I also have a few sitting around, but I followed the rules and waited. Stupid me.

bcmktg, you did nothing wrong.

I can see the point in the case of goods being sold in the trading post, but LOTS of folks routinely mention parts they need and other members offer to hook them up.

With that in mind, here's a post you might also want to take a look at:

Look! RaisedByWolves offers free stuff before the sponsors have their 24 hours to chime in.

Maybe we can be banned together.

And if that were the case and you would have chimed in and mentioned that I was in the wrong I would have left it go, because you would have been right and I would have admimitted it rather than acting like a punished child.

But since you are so far off base Ill point out that he allready got rivits from BAILEYS and they wont work for his "old school" Bar tips.

All you have achieved here is making yourself look like a food and driveing a potential member away with your arguing.

I simply reminded you of the rules, Now quit whining and go Ban yourself! :buttkick:

Scott,

When I posted the reply you quoted, the thread was still in the ArboristSite.com > Equipment Forums > Chainsaw forum. What I was saying is I wouldn't look for parts in that forum again. I didn't even know the administrators moved the thread to the Trading Post forum until one of the members PM'd me and let me know. I thought they had deleted it altogether. Anyway, I didn't mean to offend anyone or shortchange those who generously help sponsor these great forums.

btw, Brandon said he would look in his junkpile tomorrow and let me know if he had one laying around. I will let you know, if he doesn't have one. Hey, if I hadn't been such a klutz and knocked it off the workbench while trying to get the oiler working, I wouldn't need one! lol

Sposed to let the sponsors have first crack..........:bang:

Sorry RBW, gotta agree with computer here. It would be totally differant if he said, I have one for 35 bucks... But he didn't. I just can't see the arguement here....

Maybe we need a FREE PARTS FORUM?

Freak, theres only one side arguing and its not me,

This is what this forums rules state.......

Items wanted must wait for 1 day in order sponsors to respond. After that others may respond.

The Rules say 1 day to respond not sell, not give, Respond, and its most likely worded that way for a reason.

The one part I should elaborate on is this. If you are looking for a part go ahead and post it. They sponsors will have first dibbs to answer your request. If nobody responds within 2 days, then others may post to fill your requirement. We want to be able to fill your request, but we also want to protect our sponsors.

They dont want you to respond and sell before the sponsors or muddy the waters with multiple offers.

This is to benifit the sponsors, they pay money for us to be able to sit here and BS and they deserve first crack to Sell thats why they pay for the sponsor rights .

If they werent given a fair shot to sell, then why would they sponsor?

Most of you know I got a hundred # of nos parts for homelites, I wait the day to offer them, and I loose out all the time, but its simply the rules.

I simply brought up the rule, if you think this makes me the bad guy, Oh well, this whole think could have been a lot simpler if not for the whining and misinterpritations of a certain party.

Ive taken negs over this from clowns sitting on the fringes who have nothing to do with this situation or the forum in general and Im done with it.

The last thing Ill say is that this is pathetic and I feel bad for bcmktg.

Thanks for stepping up to bat RBW

I think the 48hr rule is pretty clear cut.

I hope the site members realize what it would mean to them if I and other used parts suppliers stopped sponsoring here. I give AS members wicked good prices on parts that they contact me directly for, often 1/2 of what I charge on ebay. And, not to mention all the attention I give to special requests, parts fit info, and answering questions about all varieties of obsolete saws here. I challenge you to find anybody in the country with more JoBu parts than me:laugh:

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

You say JoBu one more time and I'll............................

:angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2:

you have NO USABLE PARTS for JoBus

otherwise some knuckle head will bring one to me

near as I can figure they were unusable brand new
