I do no know why I can not make this work, but in your address slot at the top of your page type in odreg then hit control and enter. When the page comes up click on homelite and when the next page comes click on chainsaws and you will see a list of ut #s click on the one that is on your saw. Tom

Thanks a bunch you guys. My small saw is a Super 2 and I knew nothing about it.

I know the newer Homelites arent exaclty anyones favorite saws, but were the older ones any better, like pre '85's or so?

I have an early model Super 2 myself. its definately a super saw, not exceptionally powerful/fast but it's quite comfy because it is balanced quite well.

the two triggers are quite nice too, one for cutting with one hand, and the rearmost one for greater levrage when cutting larger wood. wouldnt suggest cutting much larger than 10-12" diameter with this saw though. its not quite an MS200, but its SURE cheaper than one.
