I am looking for a donor saw for this saw. It can be an XL1020, XL1040 or possibly a 945. I am not sure on the 945 though. I had the rubber suction tube in the gas tank decompose and after discovering the problem (after tinkering with the air fuel nixture etc, I took the saw to a shop for adjustment. They adjuxtedit right out of commission. They ran itrt withourt mixed fuel, Got water in the crankcase and tightened the crank nut so tight that the engine could not be turned over. I need the complete bottom end and a cylinder and piston. We can use the existing cylinder and piston if necessary.
This saw has sentimental value. It was my Daf's faviorite saw during his work time. He was a faller for 53 years and after using the 2 man disston saws in the late 40's he went to homelite and never used another sew.
Help!!!
