I went through the hometown this weekend and ran some lines. (I can't help it.) This is a small municipal powerhouse and not only is the grid in shambles and archaic, but it is overgrown in too many places. Bigtime public safety hazards abound, imho.

I know the village has plenty of financial woes, so I doubt there is even a budget allowance for clearance. But can they afford a lawsuit? I suppose they would be liable.

I know the mayor and some board members personally. I'd like to bring it to their attention, but I don't want to go to them with complaints without solutions. I'm no longer a resident, so I suppose it will have to be personal visits.

Any suggestions?

46 views and no comments. sorry, i figured that someone in here knew something about this.

I did some digging and I might make some phone calls to IMEA later this week.

Contact some people and/or write their paper....someone should care to know of the hazards, and of the utilities responsibility.
