I am new to the forum! You all have a great site here.
I am not sure if I am posting this in the proper place, if not please excuse me.. I hope that you all might be able to help me with my wood stove.
I just fired up a hot blast stove that I purchased last year. I am wondering how to keep it form getting so hot.. My house wants to be over 80 degrees when I am burning this stove.
What kind of air settings to do you all recommend? Do you all leave the damper shut or wide open? Do you leave the air settings on the stove closed or open? Whats the best way to control the stove from over heating? I guess this furnace is supposed to be set up different from a regular wood stove?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
