hot saw poulan/no power mac

I was screwing around with my poulan super clean yesterday when i decided to try some modifying on the muffler and carb.
I cut a big hole out of the muffler and turn up the carb. Now i understand the high speed screw but not the low speed.(how to set it),can any one explain. I also need to rebuild/tune the carb on my mcculloch 795, it has no power, Thanks abunch.

If the Poulan has a regular fully adjustable low speed screw, just turn it in ( clockwise ) until it seats and then turn it out 1 1/4 turns and go from there.
