Well first this thread may be better suited to the general chainsaw forum.

I looked at the listing and true it does leave some doubt in my mind I am not sure I would completely dismiss it yet. The pictures are not clear enough to see anything that would indicate definate usage. Youmentioned the bar. Well remeber the seller specified powerhead only. I admit it is odd to take a pic of a new powerhead with a used bar but from the pics I would not say with 100% accuracy it was used.

That is a venting saw!It is used by fire fighters for cutting holes in roofs and so on.Husqvarna and others sale them already set up for this.Larger starter handle(they ussally have on thick gloves),muffler protector,chain adjusting wrench on handle and carbide chain.

Well I guess it is true - you do learn something new every day. That is what I enjoy most about this site. There is such a wealth of information posted here it would fill several books I think!
