Stihlman's computer got fried, so he has been pretty quiet on here.
I am going to give a little thank you.
About two years ago we met, and he talked me into a hot saw. It has been fun ever since.
My big hotsaw popped a piston about a week and a half ago.
I just figured I would run the 026 he ported for me, runs real nice with a pipe. Tonite he calls and says if I put the rest of it back together, it will run tomorrow at the Bath, NY Lumberjack competition. Might even go alky if things work out.

I am sure glad he has helped me get into the competition. Last year just stock and hot saw, this year, axe throw, stock saw, hot saw and bow saw.
He learned a bit from me, and I learned a bit from him.

Thanks

update

Well, good and bad day for me. Stihlman had the saw there all right, I misplaced the piston pin bearing! So I ran the alky 026.
Good news, I placed ahead of 3 other saws, not counting DQs! A 50cc placing over 75cc and up saws made my day.

Thanks Dave, the pipe worked great.

Even placed in the middle of the bunch in stock saw.

Axe throw and bow saw we won't talk about.

Stihlman and his better half had a better day also.

Great to hear that you guys had a good outing Stihltech. Sounds like you`ve had enough success to give you the racing fever.
