Just a curiosity I have, how many years did it take you to become a certified arborist?

Here is the link to the downloadable application..

It basically states to meet the minimum requirements to take the test, you need to have 3 years of full time experience in the tree care/nursery/arboriculture field, a 2 yr degree in arboriculture and 2 yrs experience, a 4 yr degree in a related field and 1 yr practical experience or if you own your own business or are self employed in tree care you need to have 3 letters of reference.

Iv'e became a CA about a year and a half ago. I'm 51 years old and been doing tree work since my early 20's. I am also working on my AS degree in ornamental horticulture. I'm trying to incress my employability, and feel those things will look go on a resume. Can't say Iv,e learn to much new, but being a CA does impress some people, so that's cool.
