2 of the snags were dead falls that hung themselves up. Snag #3 with the butt 4' off the ground was my lumberjack attempt at knocking what we will call snag #2. Snag #1 is still hung, but I think I can pull it down with the truck.

This wood has been standing dead for 2-3 years and is destined for the sawmill to be cut up into 3/4" siding. Either board and batten or reverse board and batten. I think the reverse would look better, but I think it might be more difficult to put up. Anyways here are the pics enjoy.

The tree on the left was also supposed to knock the blowdown snag out. It missed!!:bang:

This was another blowdown snag - the original #1. She's really stuck. Could not pull it out with the quad or the come along. It was cracked in half about 12' up, but should be fine for siding.

I think I see some pretty awesome sugar maples in them there pics!!!!!

Pretty sure they are all red maples... big leaf, swamp maples. Whatever everyone calls them..... I took some more pics for a tree id thread, but I haven't posted them yet.
