In all fairness, they do reccomend callling an expert for trees over 25'. That's better than some advice we've seen out there!

Hmmm........ A chainsaw off an orchard ladder isn't too bad for an experienced operator but the majority of trees that are less than 25 ft in height can be felled with one's feet firmly on the ground. If the operator needs 'how to' instruction he/she shouldn't be sawing from a ladder. That 'how to' demonstrates why blanket "How Tos" don't work well for tree ops.-If you don't already KNOW how to do it safely call someone who does!

Ha! Buy a $200 orchard ladder a $200 chainsaw and risk ones neck to cut down a tree shorter than 25 feet:D.

Oh, john, that would be the coolest!!!! A stick that stuck out the side whose length could be adjusted for the size of firewood you wanted. As you made the cut, the chalk marked the end of the next piece!

Oh, I need one!!!!
