The trailer plug main power disconnect on my 1590 xp keeps coming loose or shorting out when a lot of vibration occurs( feeding big wood) , and shutting machine off. This seems to be a common occurrence, but dont see much on how to fix. obviously buying new parts and splicing wires would work , but has anyone come up with a simple solution? Seems like a easy fix, already tried putting a small screwdriver into the little prongs on the female side , and spreading them open, so they fit tight on the male plug( no pun intended, Ha!) , but even though better , still not 100%. I know this seems like a stupid question to a simple problem , but im litterally so swamped with work i dont even have time to deal with this. i have other equipment that needs more attention and just looking for a quick fix . thanks for any help from someone with this experience.

Take it apart on the side with the door...put the two wires together...btw...youre only looking at about $25 to fit the two new trailer plugs on it...the plug in side uses a jumper wire that runs from one terminal to another thereby completing the loop.

10-4 thanks crane, ill just take the male plug apart and see what terminals to jump
